As the cool months arrive, we look for diligent individuals who can help prepare the vines for the upcoming growing season. This critical process ensures that our kiwifruit vines remain healthy and robust.

Tasks:
Pruning & Tying Down
Payment Structure: Payment per production (Per Square Meter)
Key Requirements:
Physical Fitness: The ability to maintain a standing position, frequently raise your arms overhead, and comfortably handle pruning equipment is essential.
Dependability: A commitment to punctuality and reliability is crucial. You must also have your own means of transportation.
Pruning Experience: While not mandatory, prior experience with winter pruning is highly desirable.
Language Proficiency: The ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in understanding, is required.
Decision-making Ability: You should possess the skill to make swift and sound decisions.
Diligence: A strong work ethic coupled with a keen eye for detail is important.
Team Spirit: A collaborative mindset is key, along with a zest for learning new skills.
Availability: Must be reachable via mobile phone for work updates.
Commitment: Must be available for approximately 12 weeks, starting in June.
Legal Work Status: As defined by Immigration New Zealand, you must have the legal right to work in NZ.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, hard-working, and reliable individuals to join our team for the winter season as Kiwifruit Winter Pruners. In this position, you'll be playing a critical role in the ongoing cultivation and health of our kiwifruit vines.
Responsibilities:
Pruning of kiwifruit vines during the winter season to ensure optimal growth for the next season.
Safe and effective use of pruning tools and equipment.
Adhering to all company safety protocols, regulations and instructions
Working efficiently to maintain productivity levels.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in kiwifruit pruning or horticultural work is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Reliable, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and work within a team.
Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Own transport to reach remote locations is preferred.
